Honestly, because owners kept asking. A crew that has just replaced somebody's roof is already on the property, already trusted, and already set up for exterior carpentry.
It is the same discipline applied lower down: set the structure properly, deal with the ground you actually have, and do not hide a shortcut behind something that looks finished.

The part that decides how long a fence lasts
Not the boards. The posts, and what happens where they meet the ground.
A fence fails at the post line almost every time, because that is where moisture, movement and soil all act on the same piece of timber. Everything above it is only as good as what is holding it up.
So that is where the time goes: post depth, setting, spacing, and the alignment of the run before any boards go on.

Cedar is the common request here and it earns its place, weathering to a settled grey rather than degrading and standing up well to the San Antonio climate.
The choices worth discussing before we start are the height, whether the boards run flush or overlapped, and how the run handles the slope of your ground, because a fence that steps down a grade and a fence that racks with it look completely different once it is built.

Estimates are free, and financing is available on fencing the same as on roofing.
If the roof is due at some point too, it is worth mentioning when you call, because doing both while the crew is on site is usually easier for everyone.
